Ed Loftice: Lead Guitar, Vocals
Ed started playing guitar at the age of 14. He has played with other bands in his career but he found his calling when he joined Cinema. His style of playing is a perfect compliment to the musicians of Cinema.
Ed has a love for Southern Rock and the Blues that transends most guitar players of his generation. "We grew up on Steve Gaines and Eric Clapton, that's a heck of a place to start..."
Ed's influences include but not limited to are: Steve Gaines, Gary Rossington, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, John Petrucci, Jimmi Hendrix, David Gilmore......
Ed's favorite guitar is his 1997 P.R.S. Custom 24. He also sports his Fender Strat whenever possible. His tone is generated from a couple of sources. He plays a Marshall TSL 100 amp. His cabinet is a Marshall 1960a with 4x12 celestions. Ed also enjoys playing through his Line 6 Spider Valve 100 watt head. " You can go from a David Gilmore to an Angus Young in an instant with this baby ! " Ed not only plays guitar he is one of Cinema's vocalists !
